Since the year 2000, there have been 11 recounts in ranked choice voting (RCV) elections in the U.S., and six of those happened last year! Two were held in Utah, two in New York City, and one each in Portland, Maine, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this episode, Rozan Mitchell of Utah County, Utah, Deb McDonough with the League of Women Voters of Maine, and Jeff Narabrook from the City of Minneapolis walk us through those RCV recounts and recounts in general.
Please take a few minutes to complete this quick RCV Clips Listener Survey. Thanks!
