2018 ONLINE SYMPOSIUM - FROM IDEA TO IMPLEMENTATION: RANKED CHOICE VOTING AND VOTING SYSTEMS

Election administrators, elected and government officials, voting systems representatives, and ranked choice voting (RCV) proponents came together for our 1st Annual Online Symposium. Sessions included

  • Best practices and case studies for RCV presented by some of the country’s leading election experts
  • Presentations from the nation’s voting system vendors about their latest voting systems and RCV capabilities
  • Discussions about RCV and the implementation process for implementation by election administrators who have administered this voting method.

Representatives from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission will discuss the certification process and work to develop updated Voluntary Voting Systems Guidelines (VVSG) through the Voting Systems Working Group to include RCV.
